Proverbs 31:10: A capable wife (mother) who can find? She is far more precious than jewels. This was the theme for the Mother’s Day Banquet at the Greenfield Presbyterian Church on Saturday, May 13. This beautiful hymn set the tone for a service honoring 11 wonderful mothers who were selected and recognized because of their mighty feats of valor. As our narrator Anita Moore read each honoree profile, it was obvious why these mothers were selected. Their labor went far and beyond their own household gate and they blessed not only their family but the community as well.
