Naylond Hayes Camp scheduled June 19-22

The first annual Naylond Hayes Girls and Boys Individual Basketball Camp will be held June 19-22 at the Eddie L. Smith Multi-Purpose Building in Holly Springs.

The camp, led by the Holly High boys basketball coach, will be for students entering the fifth through 10th grades next fall. Cost is $60.

All campers should check in between 8 and 8:30 a.m. on Monday, June 19. All campers should be picked up at 12 noon.

Emphasis will be placed on shooting, dribbling, passing, rules and team play. Campers should wear shorts, t-shirts and gym shoes.

Deadline for registration is Saturday, June 17.

All campers should provide their own insurance. Proof of medical insurance will be required.

The Naylond Hayes Basketball Camp will teach youngsters how to be a well-rounded, team-oriented player. Each session offers intense, specialized basketball instructions with emphasis on the fundamentals of the game (dribbling, passing, shooting, defense and rebounding). Campers of all ability levels will be provided with a rewarding and enjoyable experience.
