Lions, Blue Devils advance to regionals

Several area athletes did well in
the Division 1-2A Track and Field Meet on April 11 at Tupelo.
Competing local schools included Potts
Camp, H.W. Byers and Ashland. The Potts Camp boys placed first as a team.
The top four individuals in each event
moved on to Regionals, those set for Tuesday of this week, back in Tupelo.
Girls
- Girls 100 Meter Dash - third, Rachel Jones, H.W. Byers, 14.14.
- Girls 200 Meter Dash - second, Shantae Sharp, Potts Camp, 27.46;
fourth, Samantha Stinson, Potts Camp, 29.00.
