• FELLOWSHIP SERVICES Mt. Sinai MB Church, Byhalia, will host their annual fellowship services, April 12-14, 7 p.m. nightly. Minister Tony Taylor of Chulahoma MB Church will be the guest speaker. Various churches and ministers will be special guests. The public is invited.

• COMMUNITY WIDE HOLY WEEK SERVICE Wed., April 12, Christ Episcopal Church, Van Dorn at Randolph, 12 noon, with the Rev. Cassandra Owens, chaplain at Rust College. Free lunch with vegetable soup and assorted sandwiches will follow in the Parish Hall of Christ Church. Sponsored by the Marshall County Ministerial Alliance.

• PASSION PLAY Slayden Baptist Church, 2534 Hwy. 72, Lamar, presents “The Door!” An Easter Passion Play celebrating the birth, life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. • CANCER FUND RAISER The Big Star Baggers are already hard at work for the local Relay For Life - American Cancer Society fund raiser to help raise money to find a cure for cancer. But they need your help. The Big Star Baggers are selling tickets for a scrumptious deep-fried turkey, which will be ready for pick-up April 15 -- just in time for Easter dinner. You may purchase a turkey for $25 or a Cajun-spice injected turkey for $30. For more information, talk to any Big Star Bagger at Carlisle’s Big Star in Holly Springs.

• EASTER EGG HUNT April 15, 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at Red Banks Baptist Church. Games for all ages. Bring a picnic basket for food and fellowship.

• ROSE GARDEN BREAKFAST Homemade Jamz’ Blues Band, the youngest blues band in the world, will appear in person at AKA’s annual Rose Garden Breakfast, Sat., 9 a.m. Eddie Lee Smith Multi-Purpose Building. Tickets are $12 and can be purchased in advance by calling 252-9392 or at the door.

• EASTER PROGRAM The Sunday School Church at Yarbrough Chapel CME Church will sponsor an Easter program in the regular morning worship at 11 a.m. After service there will be an Egg Hunt for the children.

• EASTER BREAKFAST Slayden Baptist Church, will have an Easter breakfast at 8:30 a.m. on April 16, with morning worship at 10 a.m.

• EASTER CHORAL PROGRAM Spring Hill Baptist Church, Bethlehem Rd., Waterford, invites everyone to a celebration in song, Easter morning, 9:30 a.m., entitled “The Power Of Christ In Me.” Pastor Dr. Bobby McKay and staff invite everyone to worship service at 10:30 a.m. with the children’s choir presenting Easter songs during this service. Services are available for children 3 and under in the nursery.

• Sunrise Easter service at Evangel Full Gospel Assembly will begin at 6:15 with singing, preaching and praising. Rev. Carl Brandon will be ministering. Breakfast will be served at the close of service in the fellowship hall. Everyone is invited to attend all or part of this service observing our Lord’s Resurrection.
