Snow Lake News
Sue Shears

Get well wishes extended to friends

Hello Snow Lakers: I hope you had a good week. We are home from vacation but the weather here is like it was in South America (in summer). Can you believe it?

After I got home I found out that several people had had some trouble while we were gone. By now the news has gotten around to most of the residents. But I will report what I have and can make any corrrections next week. Don Glasser had back surgery on Dec. 19 and I hear he is doing pretty good. Hang in there Don! C.Y. Graves’ s sister, Carolyn, had a stroke in the nursing home and she is holding her own at this time. Mickey Snow had out-patient surgery appproximately two weeks ago, and I hear is doing all right. Velma had the flu during this time but I hear she is doing better. W.B. Fuller had a pulled ligament in his leg. Get well soon! Laurie Pierpont’s father John is back in the hospital. We wish you luck. We wish to extend our sympathies to the Jason and Renee’ Ross family. Renee’s brother passed away. Also to Virginia Fay Ivester, whose daughter passed away. We will be thinking of you. If you know of anyone sick or needing help please call Sue Graves, 224-3264.

The Snow Lake Volunteer Fire Department’s Ladies’ Auxiliary still has a few sweat shirts (mostly very large sizes), and jackets at a reduced price, and cookbooks, $9.50. This is a good time to purchase these items - winter is here! They are on display at the Ashland Discount Outlet on Hwy. 4, Town Hall, or call Frances Simpson at 225-3964.
