Carey Chapel Baptist hosts revival March 6-9

Funeral Services were held for Elizabeth Hurdle at Holly Springs Funeral Chapel Saturday, Feb. 19. Burial was in Carey Chapel Cemetery. Love and sympathy are expressed to the family.

Carey Chapel Baptist Church will host a revival on March 6-9 Sunday, 6 p.m. and Monday through Wednesday, 7 p.m. Dr. Robert C. Pittman preaching, Andy Roe leading the music.

Jim Mills is home from Baptist Collierville Hospital after a week’s stay. A get well wish is sent to him.

Love and sympathy are expressed to the Hurdle family in the death of their loved one, Eula Mae.

Howard Gardner will have knee surgery at St. Francis Hospital on Monday, Feb. 28.

Ivy Teel fractured his hip while building a log cabin in Oakland, Tenn. At this writing, he is feeling better and back on the job.

David, Alisa Goode and boys visited relatives in Washington, Mo., recently.

DeWitt and Patsy Craft, friends of ours, came to visit Tuesday. It was so sweet of them to bring food.

Bro. Troy, Christy and Hanna Styers from Millington, Tenn., visited Campbell and Allene Teel recently. It was thoughtful of them to bring us a big bouquet of flowers.

Bro. Tommy and Elaine Goode and daughter Emily from Dallas, Tx., visited Bro. Arnold and Kathy Goode over the weekend.

Catherine (Cat) Allen from Slayden visited the shut-ins in the community.

Love and sympathy to the Wilber Godsey family in his recent death.

Neon and Marlene Langston from Waxahachie, Tx., left Monday after visiting relatives here in the community for a week.

Cheryl, Hunter and Christin Greene from Columbia, Tenn., visited Howard and Carol Gardner over the weekend.

Howard and Carol Gardner visited Claudia Mae Tomlinson, who is a patient at Alliance HealthCare Hospital in Holly Springs.

Carey Chapel Baptist Church enjoyed the annual wild game supper Saturday, Feb. 26. A large crowd attended.

Love and sympathy are expressed to the Bateman family in the death of their loved one, Viola Bateman.

Those on the sick list are Peggy and Eugene Edwards, Wilbur Godsey Sr., Dot Langston, Jim Mills, Philip Teel, Christine McCandless, Dixie Bumpas, Joyce Bumpas, Jimmy Bell, Myrtis and Harold Todd, my brother, Howard Gardner, Ralph and Ella Jean Whaley, also my husband Campbell. Remember to pray for these.
