  • DAY OF PRAYER Local church women united will observe a World Day of Prayer, Fri., Mar. 4, 7 p.m. at St. Paul CME Church. Rev. Michael Adams, host pastor. This year’s program was written by Christian women in Poland. Everyone is invited.
  • SECOND TIME AROUND The Marshall County Humane Society’s thrift store, Second Time Around, located next to Bailey Printing in Holly Springs, will be open Fri. and Sat., from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. Call 662-564-2900 for pickup information.

  • SINGING Holly Hills Baptist Church, Sat., March 5, with featured group Bluff City Quartet. Singing at 6 p.m., preaching by Kenneth Peppers. Bro. Frank Feathers and congregation invite all.
  • BENEFIT PROGRAM Mt. Newell MB Church family cordially invites everyone to a benefit program for Sis. Lydia Moore at 6 p.m. on March 5.
  • PRAYER BREAKFAST Anointed Truth Outreach Ministries will be having a prayer breakfast Saturday March 5th beginning at 8 a.m., at the Chulahoma Community Center. All are invited to come and take part in this prayer breakfast. Bishop Alan D. Lewis, Pastor.

  • MEXICAN LENTEN DINNER The Mexican community of St. Joseph’s Church will be selling Mexican dinners beginning at 11:30 a.m. Dine-in or carry out. $3.50 per plate.
  • PRE-OPENING Mount Newell M.B. Church, Red Banks, is hosting their Pastor and Wife Love Day at 2:30 p.m. Guest churches are LaGosha and Yarbrough Chapel.
  • REVIVAL Meadowbrook Baptist Church will host a revival March 6-9, 7 p.m. nightly with evangelist Phil Glisson. Special singing every service. Pastor Oscar Geeslin welcomes all.

  • MEETING CHANGE The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Holly Springs School District, normally held on the second Tues. of each month, has been scheduled for Thurs., Mar. 10, 6 p.m. at the central office boardroom, 840 Hwy 178 East, Holly Springs.
