ANIMAL ORDINANCE

RUNNING AT LARGE

TOWN OF POTTS CAMP, MISSISSIPPI

BE IT ORDAINED, by the Mayor and Board of Aldermen of the Town of Potts Camp Mississippi

RUNNING AT LARGE - Running at large prohibited; penalties for violations. No dog shall be allowed to run at large, and it shall be unlawful for any person who shall own, keep, or harbor any dog to allow or permit such dog to run or be at large at anytime within the Town. Any person who violates the provisions of this ordinance shall be fined the sum of not more than one hundred dollars ($100.00) plus all lawful costs for the first offense. Any person who violates the provisions of this section shall be fined no more than two hundred dollars ($200.00) plus all lawful costs for the second offense and/or up to five (5) days in jail. Any person who violates the provisions of this ordinance shall be fined the sum of three hundred dollars ($300.00) plus all lawful costs for the third and subsequent offense and/or a maximum of ten (10) days in jail.

The foregoing ordinance was introduced in writing and was then read aloud. Introduced by Alderman Bowen, duly seconded by Alderman Cox, and adopted by the following vote, to-wit:

On July 15, 2002 Montell G. Bridgewater and wife, Marie A. Bridgewater, executed a Purchase Money Deed of Trust, recorded in Marshall County, Holly Springs, Mississippi land records, Land Trust Deed Book 308, Page 183 conveying hereinafter described land to Lynda M. Debtor defaulted and legal holder accelerated the note and requested foreclosure.
