Leaving for Kuwait

National Guardsman Robert Cartwright of Byhalia is leaving February 24 for Camp Shelby and two weeks later he will report to Kuwait.

There will be a get-together for Cartwright’s family, friends and fellow Byhalia High School graduates on Saturday, Feb. 19, at 5 p.m. at 2406 Rabbit Ridge Road, Byhalia Raceway.

His wife is Dora, and he is the son of Juanita Owens and Jimmy Owens of Byhalia.
