has great gifts for everyone
Hello Snow
Lakers: I hope you had a good week. We got home from our
vacation this afternoon and I have been sleeping ever
since we got here -- got up long enough to have a
sandwich and went back to bed. We had a wonderful trip.
The Queen Mary II was fantastic - all the food, service,
and entertainment was the best ever. My husband thought
the casino was great too. I only passed through going to
my room. In fact I went through many rooms trying to find
mine - there are maps on the walls, but if I cant
see the sun I cant tell you which way we are going.
The staff was very helpful. As least I got a little
exercise.
I was sorry
to hear of the deaths during our trip. Our thoughts are
with the families. Mickey Snow had a knee operation on
January 26 and I think he is doing OK. I havent
talked to Vicki Fox who also had knee surgery, but I hope
she is doing OK. Our prayers are with the people
mentioned above. Please call Sue Wooley Graves 224-3264
if you know of anyone sick or needing help. If you know
of someone I have missed, please call me at 224-3913.
Remember,
the Ladies Auxiliary of the Snow Lake VFD still has new
Snow Lake Cookbooks for sale. You can find them at
Ashland Discount Store on Hwy. 4. Or call Frances Simpson
at 224-3469 or Jane Edwards, 224-3435. We also have some
Fire Department jackets $30 and $35, sweat shirts $12.
You can find them at Ashland Discount Store on Hwy 4, and
Town Hall.
We are
beginning a New Year, so the Ladies Auxiliary of the Snow
Lake Volunteer Fire Department has begun new projects.
They will have their annual Garage Sale on Saturday, May
7 at the Ashland Discount Outlet Store on Hwy 5. If you
have something to contribute, please take it to the store
anytime they are open, or call Sue Shears 224-3913 or
Scelette Blake 224-9251 and we will pick it up.
We have a
new policeman on duty now, Joy Cocke. If you need her,
just call the Sheriffs department or 911. She is
working ramdon hours
