Community Center prepares baskets

Hello Snow Lakers: I hope you had a good week.

Please remember, the Community Center Committee is now preparing baskets for Christmas. They are asking for your help by bringing non-perishable foods, or money to complete the baskets. Thanks for your help!

I don’t know of anyone sick to report on. If you know of anyone sick or needing help please call Sue Graves, 224-3264.

The Snow Lake Volunteer Fire Department’s Ladies’ Auxiliary still has a few sweat shirts (mostly very large sizes), and jackets at a reduced price, and cookbooks for $9.50. This is a good time to purchase these items - winter is here! They are on display at the Ashland Discount Outlet on Hwy. 4, Town Hall, or call Jane Edwards at 224-3435.

We are still on the ship. We will dock this morning in Uruguay’s capital city of Montevideo. We will have a full day to explore, walk along the city’s pearly beaches and enjoy the view from the old Spanish fort. We will set sail around dinnertime. The next two days we will relax and enjoy as we sail up the beautiful southern coast of Brazil. Tonight is our final night at sea. As we dock in Rio de Janeiro for the next three days, we will have plenty of time to see many of the sights of the beautiful city and take optional tours. Our vacation is coming to an end. We will arrive home on Christmas night and have dinner with my in-laws. She will have a big dinner for the family. Aren’t we lucky?
