Officers with a number of law enforcement agencies fanned out over the county Wednesday of last week serving arrest warrants to over a dozen individuals, many of whom were charged with the sale of illegal drugs, according to Sheriff Kenny Dickerson.

Most of those arrested were those who had been named as defendants in grand jury indictments or were under warrant for arrest from justice court, he said.

“These arrests are the results of several months of on-going undercover operations,” the sheriff said.
