Police
investigate several break-ins
The Holly Springs Police Department reports
several break-ins during the period of November 18-27.
November
18
A breaking and entering of a vehicle was
reported in the 100 block of Walthall Street. The victim stated a radio,
a purse containing $50 and various forms of identification were taken.
An axe was stolen from a residence in the
200 block of Chatham Trailer Park.
November
19
A breaking and entering was reported in
the 600 block of Martin Luther King. Entry appeared to have been made
through a window in the residence. Items taken included two watches valued
at $200, two pocket watches valued at $200, $150 in cash, 10 DVDs valued
at $50 and a gym bag valued at $20.

20
A trash receptacle was taken from the 200
block of Cuba Street.

21
Travis Manning, 20, of Holly Springs, was
arrested on charges of receiving stolen property in the 200 block of Greenbrier
Circle, according to police chief Patricia Selman.
November
22
A breaking and entering of a vehicle occurred
in the 100 block of Landfill Road. A Craftsman drill was taken. The vehicle
also received minor damage to the hood.
November 27
A breaking and entering of a commercial
building occurred sometime Sunday evening in the 900 block of Highway
7 North.
Entry appeared to have been made through
a broken window. Reports state that approximately $2,950 was taken from
the safe of the business.
