Wednesday

• PRE-THANKSGIVING SERVICE True Vine M.B. Church along with Latter Rain Church will host a pre-Thanksgiving Fellowship Service and Dinner, 7 p.m. This service will provide for the homeless/less fortunate people. Clothes will be available for those in need. Pastor Darrell E. Cunningham, host pastor. The church is located at 525 West Street, Holly Springs.

Thursday

• PTA MEETING H.W. Byers PTA monthly meeting will be held at 6 p.m. in the school cafeteria. Everyone is welcome.

Friday

• SECOND TIME AROUND The Marshall County Humane Society’s thrift store, Second Time Around, 126 W. Van Dorn, located next to Bailey Printing in Holly Springs, will be open Fri. from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. and Sat., 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Call 662-564-2900 for pick-up information on your donation.

• PANCAKE SUPPER Holly Springs Lion’s Club pancake supper, Fri., Nov. 18, 5-7 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church. All you can eat, $5. Carry-outs available.

Saturday

• SINGING Clear Creek Baptist Church, with the Meeks Family as featured singers. Fellowship at 6, singing at 7 p.m. Everyone is invited.

• BIG SALE Mt. Sinai COGIC of Mt. Pleasant will have a big yard sale, breakfast and fish fry at the home of Sis. Freddie Jones, 1611 Taska Rd. Breakfast, 7 a.m.-11 a.m., fish fry, 12 noon until. Sat., Nov. 19.

• COMMUNITY MEETING Rust College Community Development Corp., will host a meeting, Sat., Nov. 19, 8 a.m. to discuss the North Memphis St. Revitalization project. The meeting will be at the David Beckley Conference Center, 155 Rust Ave. The public is invited. For more info. call 252-4590.

• HEALTH FAIR Greenfield Presbyterian Church will sponsor a health fair and a clothes-giveaway from their clothes closet. Event will begin at 10 a.m. and end at 3 p.m. All clothes are free, but donations are gratefully accepted toward the outreach ministry.

• FISH FRY Greenfield Presbyterian Church, Sat., Nov. 19, 11 a.m.-3 p.m. The church is located at 5024 Old Hwy 7, three miles south of Waterford.

• USHER DAY Rising Star Church, Nov. 20, 2 p.m. with Rev. Gary Davis and Shiloh MB Church as guests. Everyone is invited. Pastor Robert McClain. 2519 Higdon Rd.

• HOMECOMING Emory Independent Methodist Church, 872 Watson Road, Byhalia, will have its annual Homecoming Sunday, November 20. Lunch will be served after the morning worship service.

• SENIOR CITIZEN DAY Smith Grove MB Church, Sun., Nov. 20, 11 a.m. Pastor Eugene Whitting of McIvor Creek MB Church of Sardis will be guest speaker. Sis. Edna Woods, sponsor, W.C. Conner, pastor.

• Christmas in Como Celebration, an outdoor ceremony at 7 p.m. around the big, live Christmas tree on Como’s Main Street. This evening includes caroling by many local church choirs, bagpiping, the official lighting of both the tree as well as the Christmas lights on all of Main Street’s buildings.
