Springs News Tallies celebrate anniversary October 29 at Annie’s Hopewell No. 1’s officers were installed Sunday, Nov. 6. Asbury United Methodist Church was our guest. Some of Hopewell No. 1’s members attended the 2005 Freedom Award at 10 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 3 at The Temple of Deliverance, 369 G.E. Patterson Ave., Memphis, Tenn. This program honored Oprah Winfrey, Paul Rusesabagina, Ruby Dee and Ossie Davis (posthumously). Mr. and Mrs. Henry Lee Tallie Sr. celebrated their wedding anniversary Saturday, Oct. 29 at Annie’s. Mrs. Rethie Ann Reliford’s son in St. Louis sent her some beautiful flowers on her birthday. District Baptist Women Auxiliary and the local Baptist Sunday school congress attended a Baptist State Breakfast in Louisville Nov. 5.
