  • MEN ONLY CONFERENCE Salt & Light Ministries of America invites the men of the church of their first men-only conference, Nov. 10-13, at New Dimension. Veterans Day

  • MARSHALL COUNTY MHV HOLIDAY FAIR. The annual Marshall County Homemakers Holiday Fair will be held Friday, Nov. 11 at the Marshall County Library starting at 8 a.m. with registration. A variety of speakers will present programs on crafts, dried flowers, garden glove windsock, scrapbooking, candles and other topics. Lunch will be provided.   • VETERANS DAY PROGRAM Salute to African American soldiers, Fri., Nov. 11, 7 p.m. at the Ida B. Wells Museum. Sponsored by American Legion Post #250, the Museum and the NE MS Region Lay Council of the CME Church. For more info. call 252-3232.

  • VETERANS DAY PROGRAM Marshall Academy will host their annual Veteran’s Day program, 10 a.m. in the gym. All area veterans are invited.

  • MEETING The Marshall County Republicans will meet Sat., Nov. 12, 10 a.m. at Northcentral Electric Power Assoc., Hwy 309, Byhalia. Speaker will be Sen.   • BENEVOLENT BANQUET Nov. 12, 7 p.m. at the Oak Palace, to raise funds for New Hope Village. A grand event for people of all ages.   • FALL FLING Free Springs United Methodist Church will have their annual “Fall Fling” Sat., Nov. 12, beginning at 7 a.m. The church is located one mile off Hwy 310 (at the Sardis Lake-Piney Point turn), near Harmontown. Come early and do some holiday shopping! There will be homemade craft items, white elephant items, estate sale items, knick-knacks, thing-a-ma-jigs and gee-gaws, along with a bake sale. There will be great food available, along with drinks and dessert. Come enjoy the wonderful fall weather and get your Christmas shopping started off with a good time!
  • SINGING New Hope Baptist Church Hwy. 72 Slayden will be having a gospel singing Sat. night Nov.12, starting at 7 p.m. Featured group will be The Gant’s from Tiptonville, Tenn. Bro. Billy Adair and congregation invite everyone to attend. Fellowship supper after singing.

  • SPECIAL SPEAKER Redeem Fellowship, North Randolph St., 11 a.m. with Minister Craig Williamson. Host pastor W.A. Merriweather.
  • ANNIVERSARY The Silver Stars will celebrate their 37th anniversary, Sun., Nov. 13, 6 p.m. at the Oak Palace, 380 E. Stewart St., Pat Boga will be master of ceremonies. Many, many groups on program with special guests The Forest Brothers from Coldwater. Donations at the door. Everyone is invited.
  • Harvest Day will be held at Community Temple Holiness Church, 1331 Mt. Zion Road, 3 p.m. Guest church will be Faith Church of Nazarene. Pastor Dale Stephens, guest speaker.
  • REVIVAL Mt. Sinai COGIC of Mt. Pleasant will have a special revival beginning at 9:30 a.m. with Evangelist Kenneth Hollingsworth of Las Vegas as guest speaker. Also continuing Monday and Tuesday, 7:30 nightly. Pastor is Elder Curtis Pritchard.

  • PRE-THANKSGIVING SERVICE True Vine M.B. Church along with Latter Rain Church will host a pre-Thanksgiving Fellowship Service and Dinner, 7 p.m. This service will provide for the homeless/less fortunate people.
