MHV HOLIDAY FAIR. The annual Marshall County Homemakers Holiday Fair
will be held Friday, Nov. 11 at the Marshall County Library starting
at 8 a.m. with registration. A variety of speakers will present programs
on crafts, dried flowers, garden glove windsock, scrapbooking, candles
and other topics. Lunch will be provided. For more information contact

Salute to African American soldiers, Fri., Nov. 11, 7 p.m. at the Ida

Springs United Methodist Church will have their annual “Fall Fling”
Sat., Nov. 12, beginning at 7 a.m. The church is located one mile off
Hwy 310 (at the Sardis Lake-Piney Point turn), near Harmontown. Come
early and do some holiday shopping! There will be homemade craft items,
white elephant items, estate sale items, knick-knacks, thing-a-ma-jigs
and gee-gaws, along with a bake sale. There will be great food available,
along with drinks and dessert. Come enjoy the wonderful fall weather
and get your Christmas shopping started off with a good time!

night Nov.12, starting at 7 p.m. Featured group will be The Gant’s
