II Chronicles 7:14 The Greenfield Presbyterian Church family enjoyed a beautiful service on Sun., Oct. 30, with the Walton Chapel Church family. Service began with songs of praise and prayers. This was only a portion of what was in store. As a way of involving the congregation, the pastor and session decided on a panel discussion type of service. Panel members included Rev. Dr. Coker George, Rev. Eric Shields and Regina Walker. Discussion was taken from Matthew 23:1-12. Elder Joseph Grantham delivered an inspiring message Sunday evening at the Family and Friends Day program sponsored by Miller’s Court #301, Heroines of Jericho at Greenfield Presbyterian Church. Bessie Mae Page from South Bend, Ind. spent several nights last week with her aunt, Mamie Glover and her cousin, Callie M. Lay and family. She also visited in the home of Elmira Curry. News Bible class treated to dinner in Collierville Pastor Leroy James of Hopewell No. 1 took his Bible class out to dinner at Barnhill’s Wednesday, Oct. 26 in Collierville, Tenn. Mrs. Ivion Mae Crittle presented a delicious cake to Mr. and Mrs. Henderson Milan for their 54th wedding anniversary. Marshall County Retired Education Personnel will meet Friday, Dec. 9, 1 p.m. at Dreamland. A Christmas dinner will be served for a fee. Gifts will be exchanged. Mrs. Laverne Jones, president. A Service of Praise and Celebration, Phase I Completers was held at Holly Springs/ Marshall County Baptist Congress of Christian Education, Sunday, Oct. 13, 3 p.m. at the Holly Springs/Marshall County Baptist Association Building.
