foundation spearheading fundraiser The Alliance Charitable Foundation of Marshall County is spearheading a local fundraiser for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. In an effort to raise money for breast cancer patients, according to Linda Logan, local citizens are being asked to begin collecting UPC proof of purchases from specially-marked pink ribbon packages of Quilted Northern Ultra®. Quilted Northern Ultra® will donate 50 cents to the Komen Foundation for every proof-of-purchase collected from specially-marked pink ribbon packages of Quilted Northern Ultra® through December 31, 2005 (up to a maximum of $500,000). Friday, Dec. 16 has been designated as the day that all donors are being asked to bring the UPC proof of purchases from specially-marked pink ribbon packages of Quilted Northern Ultra® to a collection box at Alliance Charitable Foundation of Marshall County located at 617A Hwy 7 South, Holly Springs, MS.
