Hopewell Choir Day October 23

Marshall County Schools Retired Personnel met Friday, Oct. 7, 1 p.m. in the Marshall County Library.

A conference was held at Hopewell No. 1 Friday, Oct. 7, 7 p.m. with Pastor James presiding.

Choir Day will be held at Hopewell No. 1 Sunday, Oct. 23, 3 p.m. Many choirs have been invited. Singers will be present. Cora Walton, president; Rev. James, host pastor.

Hopewell No. 1 MB Church’s Pastor’s Aide Club presented Dr. Zebedee Reynolds Jones in concert Sunday, Oct. 2, 7 p.m. at the church, 365 Bonner Street, Holly Springs. Rev. Leroy James, pastor. Theme, “O Come, Let Us Sing Unto the Lord.” Psalm 95:1A. Mistress of ceremony, Sis. Patricia Boga. Sponsors, Sis. Etoyil F. Long and Deacon Henderson Milan.
