Personals Warrens entertain family Alexis and Clay Williams of Ocean Springs were guests in the home of her parents and brother, Susan, Jimmy and Rob Warren, over the weekend. They were joined on Saturday night for dinner by Dorothy Warren. Leigh Douglas returned Saturday after a visit with her son, Charlie Douglas, and his family, wife, Stefanie, and children, Chandler and Caroline. She attended Carolines cheerleading performance. Steve and Kathy Elgin and children, Emma and Steven, attended the Mississippi State football game on Saturday against LSU in Starkville. Karen is the daughter of Marcia Byrd of Lamar and the late David Byrd. She is the granddaughter of Howard Skelton of Lamar and the late Mable Skelton; and the late Mildred Byrd McCallough of Red Banks and the late Shack Byrd of Lamar and Wanda Byrd Boehm of Mt. Pleasant. She is a 2001 graduate of H.W. Byers High School. Derek is the son of Jonnie and Jerry Collins of Lamar and Gene and Heather Reaves of Victoria. He is the grandson of James and Bonnie Byrd of Lamar and Bettye Reaves of Lamar and the late Jackie Reaves. The wedding will take place at 5 p.m. on October 15 at the Oak Palace in Holly Springs with a reception immediately following. All family and friends are cordially invited to attend. The happy couple and their daughter Chelsea will make their home in Lamar. Miss Emmily Thomas and Nathan Hurdle will exchange vows October 15 Mr. and Mrs. C.W. (Chuck) Thomas of Holly Springs and Mr. and Mrs. Alan (Skeet) Hurdle of Slayden are happy to announce the forthcoming marriage of their children, Emmily Susan Thomas and Nathan Alan Hurdle. Emmily graduated from high school in 2003. She is attending Northwest Community College, currently working on her degree in nursing. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Thomas Sr. of Holly Springs and Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Jenkins of Sardis. She is the great-granddaughter of Vera Young of Eupora. Nathan is a 2002 graduate of Marshall Academy. He attended Northeast Community College and transferred to Crichton College in Memphis, Tenn., where he is currently working on a degree in business management. Nathan is a partner of ACH and Son in Slayden. He is the grandson of Sue Shaw of Harmontown and the late Calvin Shaw and the late Byron (Tootsie) Hurdle Sr. and the late Eula (Tump) Hurdle of Slayden Emmily and Nathan will be married on October 15, 2005 at 2 p.m. at 1732 Hwy 311, Holly Springs, at the home of the brides parents. They would like to take this opportunity to invite all friends and family to attend this special event in their lives. Museuming Christmas in Holly Springs - 2005 Eighteen years ago we were trying to revive the Museum and we needed a fundraiser.
