Snow Lake VFD annual meeting set for Saturday at Fire Station
Hello Snow Lakers: I hope you had a good week. News is slim this week. It seems that everyone is laid back and enjoying the mild temperature. We have set on the deck several times lately because the breeze is just wonderful.
John Pierpont on Snow Lake Drive is still in rehab in Oxford. Get well soon Mr. John. If you know of anyone sick or needing help please call Sue Graves, 224-3264. If you know of someone I have missed, please call me at 224-3913.
The Snow Lake Volunteer Fire Department’s Ladies’ Auxiliary still has a few items of clothing that has been reduced in price for quick sale - sweat shirts $8 all sizes, jackets $20 all sizes, cookbooks $9.50. This is a good time to purchase these items - fall is almost here. They are on display at the Ashland Discount Outlet on Hwy. 4, Town Hall, or call Jane Edwards at 224-3435.
Mark your calendar! Saturday, October 1, the Snow Lake Volunteer Fire Department will have their annual meeting at 1:30 p.m. at the fire station. Plan to attend.
The Community Center is having a garage sale on October 8, so start saving your discards. All the proceeds will go to making improvements on the building and grounds. For contributions, call Emily Koen, 224-8707; or Joan Martinez, 224-8032.
We have some new property owners, so when you see them please stop and say hello, and by all means, invite them to our meetings and potluck.
Potluck last Saturday was wonderful. We have some great cooks here.
