Mary Milan wins ribbons in exhibit

Hopewell No. 1 birthdays in September are James DeBerry, 2; Alberta Kimmons, 3; Michael Crittle, 7; Patricia Lesure, 8; Jerry Reed, 10; Donnitha Walton, 12; Mary Beard, 12; Ralph Waller, 13; Juliet Williams, 17; Ina Jones, 18; Michael Greer, 20; Desmond Lesure, 29.

Mary Milan participated in Marshall County Homemaker’s Club exhibit on the square Sept. 7, with 21 entries. She received 13 blue ribbons for first place and eight red ribbons for second place. She participated in Benton County Fair with 48 entries. She received 47 blue ribbons for first place and one red ribbon for second place.
