nabs burglary suspects By SUE
WATSON Marshall County Sheriffs Department investigators recovered numerous pieces of stolen property taken from a place on Minton Road and several other locations in the county, according to Sheriff Kenny Dickerson. Investigators have two suspects, an 18-year-old and a juvenile, who are cooperating with authorities, Dickerson said. The suspects cooperation has led to the recovery of a motorcycle, a four-wheeler, chain saws, lawn blowers and weed eaters from several locales including one place on Minton Road, he said. The suspects agreed to turn themselves in Wednesday, August 10, according to investigator Kelly McMillen. They will be charged with two counts grand larceny, one count burglary of a commercial building and one count petit larceny, he said. Investigators said the motorcycle was found in a lake behind one of the suspects homes. The suspect led deputies to a location on Battle Road where a stolen four-wheeler was hidden in a 40-foot ditch. Stolen lawn equipment - weed eaters, blowers and chain saws, were recovered from another residence off Cayce Road, McMillen said. Dickerson asked anyone who has information regarding any property stolen in Marshall County to call his department at 662-252-1311 or 662-851-7600 to provide leads for investigations. Callers tips and information, as well as their identity, will be kept in the strictest of confidence, the sheriff said. Report News:
