  • SPAY/NEUTER PROGRAM The Marshall County Humane Society’s low cost spay/neuter program will be held at the permanent site, 646 Old Hwy 78 E. Call 252-6196 for the necessary appointment.
  • MEETING Holly Springs Intermediate School will hold its Federal Program Committee meeting in Mrs. DeBerry’s office. Parents and community representatives are invited.
  • PTA MEETING Holly Springs Intermediate School will hold its monthly PTA meeting at 5:30 in the library. All parents are encouraged to attend.

  • MEETING The Marshall County Fair Assoc. membership meeting will be Sat., Jan. 22, 2 p.m. at the fairgrounds. Open house begins at 1 p.m.
  • SINGING Fourth Sat. night singing at Evangel Full Gospel Assembly. Individual and group singers, with congregational singing for all. Local guest singers will be present, visiting singers will be featured. Singing time, 7 p.m.
  • BLOOD DRIVE Springhill Baptist Church is sponsoring a blood drive, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. in the gym on Waterford-Bethlehem Road. For more information or to make an appointment call 252-1978.

  • WORKSHOP A workshop to prepare for the Marshall/Benton County Job Fair will be held at the Marshall County Library and at the agricenter in Ashland on Feb. 3. Neal Springer will be in Holly Springs at 10 a.m. and Leigh Nelson will be in Ashland at 1 p.m. Preregistration will be handled by Catholic Social Services in Holly Springs. To preregister for the workshop, please call Evelyn Fant, receptionist, at 252-1336. Drop-ins will be welcomed at the workshops. The Job Fair will be held March 1.

  • BENEFIT Emory Independent Methodist Church, 872 Watson Rd., Byhalia will have their annual St. Jude Benefit, Sat., Feb. 12 with a catfish meal.
