Walton Chapel CME Church will host Pastor and Wife Appreciation Sunday

Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you and persecute you, and utter all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice and be exceeding glad; for great is your reward in heaven; for men so persecuted the prophets which were before you. Matthew 5:11-12.

A soul stirring revival was conducted at Greenfield Presbyterian Church June 22 through July 1. Rev. Charles Lesure was the evangelist of the week. On Wednesday night his Scripture was the 23rd Psalm; his subject “Do you know the real wheel of fortune?” Thursday his sermon was from Matthew 4:1, titled “Fighting Temptation. (Shake The Devil Off.) Friday’s Scripture was from Exodus 14:14-20, and was titled “It’s Time For God To Work In Our Lives.”

Rev. Coker George and Pastor Eric Shields were hosts pastors.

Pastor and Wife’s Appreciation Program for Rev. Eric and Sharon Shields will be held at Walton Chapel CME Church in Waterford on July 10, 3:00 p.m. Guest speaker will be Rev. Ronnie Franklin from Greenwood. Come and celebrate with us.
