Byhalia Clydesdale Festival rodeo draws top cowboys

A larger purse drew 240 cowboys from nine states to the Byhalia Clydesdale Christmas Store Festival rodeo for the two nights performance June 24-25, according to Jerry Bolden, rodeo operator.

Three Memphis Redbirds land on All-Star team

The Pacific Coast League last week announced the roster for the 2005 All-Star game in Sacramento.

Memphis will have three representatives in the game. Memphis starters Chris Gissell and Kevin Jarvis will join outfielder Raul Gonzalez in Sacramento on July 13 for the All-Star game between the PCL and the International League.
