Annual Dee Stone reunion held

Congratulations to Felicia Clayton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Clayton, and Anthony Fincher Jr., on their recent engagement. He is the son of Tony Fincher and Bonnie Gurley. The wedding will be held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Clayton, Old Hwy 78, Hickory Flat on Saturday, July 30, at 6:30 in the evening. Her grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Leo Clayton and Sadie Rodgers; his grandparents are Louise Pruitt and Betty Fincher.

Annual Men and Women’s Day Sunday

Father’s Day was observed Sunday at Hopewell No. 1 Sunday, June 19. Mississippi Industrial College Alumni Association met Saturday, June 18, 11 a.m.

Women’s Conference will be held at Hopewell No. 1 Saturday, July 23, 10 a.m. Minister Gaines will be guest speaker. The public is invited to attend.

Annual Men and Women’s Day will be Sunday, July 24, 10:45 a.m. and 2:45 p.m. The public is invited to attend.

Our fifth Sunday meeting will be at the Baptist Association Building at 3 p.m. The public is invited to attend.

Marshall County Retired Education Personnel will meet Friday, Aug. 12 at 1 p.m. in the public library. Laverne Jones, president.
