Hamilton Chapel hosts spring revival May 25-27

For you were called to freedom, brothers and sisters; only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for self-indulgence, but through love become slaves to one another. For the whole law is summed up in a single commandment: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. Gal. 5:13-14.

The birthday calendar rally at Greenfield Church on Sunday, May 22 was wonderful. Music by Greenfield choir and Strawberry male chorus. Introduction of master of ceremony, minister Evelyn C. Elliott, M.C. Bro. Lincoln Martin, welcome, Bro. James Coleman, acceptance, standing ovation. Occasion, Jerome George, music, Greenfield youth choir, followed by reporting of each calendar month. Finance committee in charge.

The message was delivered by Rev. Willie Jeffries, pastor of Strawberry MB Church. His Scripture was read from Luke 2:25-35. He used for a subject “A Dream Come True,” (Simon) music by Strawberry male chorus.

Announcements, word of thanks, Sis. Mary Mull, closing remarks, Rev. George, benediction, Rev. Jeffries. Repast in fellowship hall.

Greenfield pastor and members would like to thank all the churches and individuals who supported them in their rally.

Spring revival will be held at Hamilton Chapel CME Church, May 25-27, nightly only, 7 p.m. Pastor H. Nelson will be the speaker of the week. Pastor, Billy L. Williams, host pastor.
