A class of about 24 officials and staffers of local government offices in Marshall County have agreed on a project they believe will do the most for quality of life in the county.
Audubon hosts Migratory Bird Day
About 1,000 elementary school students from the region got a taste of the outdoors and learned about migratory birds and many other wildlife and their habitats at Strawberry Plains Audubon Center in Holly Springs Friday.

Museum prepares for grand opening
The renovation of the Ida B. Wells-Barnett Museum and Art Gallery will be celebrated with food and fanfare at a grand opening July 15. The reopening is scheduled in connection with the Ida B. Wells homecoming and birthday celebration, according to curator Leona Harris.
