Pleasant News Allene Teel Don Bumpas returns from Bahamas The Campbell Teel family would like to thank each of you for your love, prayers, phone calls, cards, flowers, food and visits during Campbells illness and death. A very special thanks to Unity Hospice for home care and to the Holly Springs Funeral Home. To each one who had a part in Campbells funeral we also say thank you. May God bless each of you. The children of Lynn and Mattie Anderson honored their parents with a 50th wedding anniversary celebration on Saturday May 7, at Carey Chapel Baptist Church. The couple renewed their vows in a lovely ceremony. A reception followed in the church fellowship hall. The Keenagers of Carey Chapel will be taking a trip to Oxford on May 10. Rev. Armond Taylor will be preaching at FBC, Mt. Pleasant for the next two Sundays while the pastor Rev. Jimmy Sparks and wife are on vacation. Don Bumpas made a trip to the Bahamas to visit his wife Joyce who is a patient there. Mary Lou Barry, from Dallas, Texas, visited relatives and friends here in the community and in the Slayden community last week. Out of town relatives and friends who came to attend the visitation and funeral of Campbell Teel were Dr. Tommy Goode, Dallas, Tx.; Charlie Grewell, Oak Grove, Mo.; Mary Barry, Dallas, Tx.; Danny and Christie Goode and sons from Lees Summit, Mo.; Paul Goode, Ozark, Mo.; and Laura Harris, Salinas, Ca. Sympathy and love are expressed to Mable Cothern in the loss of her nieces husband. Xander Goode celebrated his sixth birthday with a party at his home on Friday night. Report News:
