It’s Pilgrimage weekend in Holly Springs

The 67th annual Holly Springs Pilgrimage is here.

The big event is this Friday, Saturday and Sunday, April 15-17. It is sponsored by the Holly Springs Garden Club.

The Royal Court will be presented during the opening of the Pilgrimage at Montrose at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 15.

Homes on the tour this year include Montrose 1858, Finley Place 1856, Crump Place 1837, The Terrace 1842 and Hilltop 1858.

The Pilgrimage will also include the grand opening of The Walter Place Estate, Cottages and Gardens.

There will also be tours of historic churches, a candlelight cemetery tour and wine and cheese reception, carriage rides, luncheons and other enjoyable activities.

For more information, contact the Holly Springs Tourism Bureau, 252-2515, or Susie Murphy at 252-6479. Tickets can be purchased at the Marshall County Library during the Pilgrimage. Tickets will not be for sale at individual homes on the tour.
