Currys enjoy family during the holidays

Jesus saith unto her, touch me not: for I am not yet ascended to my Father; but go to my brethern, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father and your Father; and to my God, and your God. John 20:17.

Mrs. Yvonne Figuers from Muskegon, Mich. spent several days and nights with her cousin, Elcue Curry in the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis.

Dr. Rosece J. Jenkins and husband, Kyle Jenkins, came and spent several nights and days with her grandfather, Mr. Curry, to help with his needs in the home. They were accompanied by his mother, Elease Jenkins and daughter, Sofi, from Houston, Tex.

Sunday services at Greenfield Presbyterian Church were very inspiring. Rev. George chose as his subject: Good News, Christ Is Risen. His Scripture was taken from John 20:1-18. Prayer for Illumination was given by Evelyn C. Elliott. Old Testament reading was from Jeramiah 31:1-6 and given by Elder Patience George; Psalms 118:14-24, Rosell Jenkins; Epistle reading I Cor. 3:1-4, Cal Curry; and music by the youth choir.

Invitation to the Lord’s table given by the pastor and elders.

Alvin Keonyatta Curry is spending a few weeks with her grandparents, Elmira and Elcue Curry.
