Jay Isenhour, plant manager, presented Crumb with the award on Tuesday of last week, recognizing him as the leadman over the clay preparation and manufacturing departments. Bucks know-how and can-do attitude are among his most valuable assets he brings to his job as leadman, said Isenhour. He lead an effort to capture and re-cycle sand coating additives that ultimately showed a drastic reduction in usage, less production by-product and a cost reduction that can be measured. Isenhour said Crumbs leadership and drive is part of the glue that holds the team together and he is highly regarded by his co-workers for his abilities and character. Buck is a very dedicated employee and an individual who is constantly striving to do his job better each day, said Isenhour. He has discipline for paying attention to detail and is a person who believes he can always improve. He is an example of Attitude is Everything.
