Class of ‘54 meets at JB’s Restaurant

Alexis Williams of Ocean Springs, was the weekend guest of her parents, Jimmy and Susan Warren, and brother, Rob.

Becky Cupp, Bea Green, Caroline McCrosky, Robin Seale, Vivian Smith and Kay Wheeler returned Tuesday from a fabulous trip to San Antonio, Texas. The ladies enjoyed shopping, sight-seeing and travelling down to Juevo Laredo, Mexico, for an afternoon across the border!

Helen and Jack Tyson of Nashville, Tenn., were visitors of Dr. and Mrs. Bobby Tyson last weekend.

The Class of 1954 had their regular monthly meeting on Saturday, March 12, at JB’s Restaurant. Those who attended were Peggy Crowe Marshall, Helene Doxey Tyson, Nancy Fant Smith, Eleanor Rose Algee, Marie Colston Smith, Pam Lester Heck, Winnie Tomlinson Childers and Flora Smith Bain. Special invited guests were Frances Doxey Winter and Jorja Swaney Lynn. A delightful luncheon and meeting was had by all.

Mary Clay Brooks and children, Caitlyn and Grady, returned Monday from Newnan, Ga,, where they visited with Hank Wheeler, Charles and Pat Wheeler and Hillery O’Brien and her children, Austin and Mason.

Couple to wed March 26

Curtis and Cecelia Hester of Red Banks announce the marriage of their daughter, Codi Lynn to Matthew Wayne Thompson, son of Dennis and Vickie Thompson of Moscow, Tenn.

Codi is the granddaughter of Walter and Melva Owen and James Hester of Red Banks, and the great-granddaughter of Mauce McCalla of Red Banks.

Matt is the grandson of Audie and Margrette Voyles and Carolyn Thompson of Moscow.

The couple will exchange vows on March 26, 2005 at 3 o’clock in the afternoon at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church with Rev. Kevin Yearber officiating.

A reception will follow the ceremony and all friends and family are welcome.


Timothy Richard Tyreke Grisham was born March 4, 2005 at 4:09 a.m. He weighed six pounds, 14 ounces and was 19 inches long. His mother is Brandy Grisham; his father is Timothy Walton. Grandparents are Sheila Elliott, John Bourque of Tupelo and the late Richard W. Grisham of Lamar; Thelma Hughes and Wayne Adams of Nettleton; Jimmy Wayne Washington of Tupelo.

Timmy and Jennifer Goode of Potts Camp are proud to announce the birth of a son, Tucker Bruce, who was born December 8, 2004 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in New Albany. He weighed seven pounds, five ounces and was 19-1/2 inches long.
Maternal grandparents are James Potts of Potts Camp, Rhonda Conlee of Potts Camp and Danny Titsworth also of Potts Camp.
Paternal grandparents are Bruce Goode of Potts Camp and Betty Goode also of Potts Camp.
He was welcomed home by his two big brothers, Tyler and Taylor.
