WATSON Marshall County Circuit Clerk Lucy Carpenter has been asked to travel to Bangalore, India, to help test a records management system being developed for potential use by the state of Mississippi. Four charged with shoplifting Holly Springs police officers arrested four Alabama residents and charged them with shoplifting approximately $250 in value of pain relief medications from a business on Mackie Drive. David Hamm, 49, Debra Hamm, 45, Kenneth Roden, 42, and Regina Roden, 45, all of Tuscumbia, Ala., were arrested and charged with shoplifting Thursday and taken to the Marshall County Jail, pending a bond hearing, according to police chief Patricia Selman. In another incident, a vehicle burglary was reported Saturday in the 100 block of North Randolph Street. The owner said the radio and car title were taken from the car.
